Recap of our Holiday

We had to have Christmas early. We were plan on leaving on the 23rd for Vegas. We watched the news on Friday that said there is going to be a storm coming. I woke up on Saturday at five waking Michael up asking him if he thinks we need to leave today. We got online watched the news and we decided that we needed to leave Sunday morning. So we got the kids up and we had Christmas. We spent the day playing with new toys, packing and cleaning. We left for Vegas the next morning at five. The snow was already blowing. We got there safe. Ellie threw up the whole way there. Love when that happens. Michael's Christmas Gift
We got to stop and see Mila and her family. We were in the same ward many years ago. We always look forward to seeing them. I could always count on Mila for watching the kids at the last minute. She is an amazing mom. So much more patience then I will ever have.
This is me with my cousin Lisa. Don't we look a like? They moved to Vegas in August. Her husband is in the Air force. They are only going to be there for a year. We seem to only see each other only at a funeral. Lisa you are so funny. You and Glen are amazing people. It was fun for my kids to get to know there cousins. I really enjoyed visiting them. Hopefully we will be able to see them in March when we are back in town. Thanks for the socks.

Christmas Eve the kids in their new Pj's . Evan was already a sleep. I am sure it is a surprise to see the girls in HSM PJ's The kids got scooters from Santa. They were catching on how to do it. But now we are back home. There is a lot of snow. We won't get them out now tell the snow is gone. Last year they got bikes from Santa and they couldn't try them out until spring. When will Santa learn that we live in Idaho these are probably not the best things to get.
This Picture is for you Bridget. I told you it was a nice day. I am sure that looks nothing like your Christmas.

Michael getting some love from Uncle JimEthan got football cards for Christmas. Jeromy was so kind to help Ethan put them in order
December 26 Ethan turned nine. I can't believe I have a nine year old. He is a good kid. Loves school. Enjoys playing football, soccer, basketball. This year he wants to try wrestling. He looks forward going to scouts every week. His new love is collecting football cards. We went to McDonald's to celebrate. Then we headed to sunny San Diego.
This is what he wanted a Seahawk Jersey

This picture is just so sweet.
Bryanna and I on the Sky lift. It was a beautiful day and the view was awesome.
Michael and Mom as we walked down by the ocean. This was not my favorite trip. Ellie getting sick. Katie, Ethan, Wyatt, Michael and I got it too. Some how Bry stayed clear from it all. When you don't feel good all you want is your bed. We were going to stay in Vegas until the 2nd but there was another storm coming so we had to leave on the 31st. We brought in the New Year in the car. Michael and I were sick on the drive home. GOOD TIMES! Over all it was a fun trip. I sure it will be a trip that I will never forget.

It was a wonderful Holiday, even though we all were sick to some degree. It was so nice to have all of my kids and grandkids here for Christmas. Can't wait to see everyone again. Love you all and I'll see you soon.

Sounds like a very eventful Christmas! Just think of all those memories - and all that joy you must have left along the side of the road, miles and miles of it. :-)
Love the new picture of the family!
