I have been wanting to blog this for sometime now. I have taken pictures of Wyatt with his therapists. I know our family has read the names now you have a face with the name. Wyatt is a busy man. He has four set appointments every week. He is being taking care of by these great people that want to see him succeed. I am truly grateful for all of them.
Monday we start with Connie. She comes to the our home for Occupational Therapy (OT). We use to see her only once a month now it is every week. She is teaching him life skills. She has him work with his right hand. She is great with him. When Wyatt goes to school he will have OT there with Connie.
This is Zeke. He is awesome. We go to Twin Fall on Tuesday for Speech Therapy for 45 minutes. Zeke loves that Wyatt is so easy to work with and so willing to learn. Wyatt try's so hard to talk. He is learning sign language to. He learns to sign a new word about every week and half. The kids are enjoying learning to sign. At speech they also work on his motor skills so Wyatt gets to eat licorice or Cheetos.

This is Jeremiah we go to Physical Therapy every Wednesday in Gooding. Jeremiah has been with us from the beginning. We were sent to him in July. When we meet Jeremiah Wyatt was only taking a couple steps. Now Wyatt just runs to him. I can't express how much we appreciate him. He stretches Wyatt and he works on his upper body strength. He has Wyatt on the trampoline teaching him how to jump. He truly cares for Wyatt.
This is Tristan she comes to our home on Thursday for Developmental Therapy. When she walks in the door Wyatt runs to the front room and sits down he can't wait to she what she has brought in her bag. She really focuses on sounds and has him try to use the right hand.
There are many doctors that we have meet on the way that have been so kind. Everyone that we have meet on the way has been so positive. No one has told me what limitations Wyatt is going to have only the positive outcomes we can expect. As a mom I grateful for that and the care they have showed towards me. Wyatt also has a case worker who is on top of things. She is the one that has found all these great people for us. These last six months have been filled with a lot of tears, sadness, joy, and education. Michael and I know that we have been so blessed to have Wyatt in our home and to ensure that he is getting all the help that he needs. I know Heavenly father is watching over him. I am grateful for the priesthood blessings he has received. We continue to see him improve, he not only walks but is running. He is starting to say a few words. Just a week ago he passed a small ball from his left hand to his right and was able to hold on to it. I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw that. I know that is a miracle. He continues to surprise us.
Michael and I want our family and friends to know how much we appreciate all the support we have received these last six months. I have a good friend here that is welling to take Ellie and Katie so I can take Wyatt to his appointments. My mom comes over and helps me with chores, picks Katie up from school, and is here when the big kids come home from school. Our lives have changed so much. If it's not these four appointments I am on the phone making a call to see if there is anyone else out there that can help him. I can't remember when I got to have a Pj day (ha ha). I have said this before, THANKS for all the prays, the phone calls, and e-mails. We are going to watch him grow, learn, and continue to be so happy!.

I really think, no I know, that Heavenly Father picked the right family to give Wyatt to. You, Michael and the "beasties" are just what he needs to grow up happy and strong and well loved. Yes, you have a lot of good people helping with his progress, but without you he wouldn't be doing as well as he is. I am so proud of him and you both. He is a miracle and such a blessing to all of us. I love you and you are always in my prayers.
We love you, Wyatt! It's so good to finally see the heroes in your life!
Thanks for the update, Tera!

Hi Tera!
I found your blog through April's. It is so awesome to see your family and how big and wonderful they all are. By the way, do you know a family by the name of Stokes in Gooding? My friends parents live there. Wyatt is so cute and sounds like he has such a wonderful group of people working with him.
Merry Christmas.
