WHAT!!!!

We have been trying to refinance our house in this stable financial market. On Thursday the 3oth we heard back from the loan officer that we came out of underwriting and should be signing in a few days. That would only happen in a perfect world. So about three o'clock on Halloween afternoon, Michael gets a message from our loan officer about a few items that we would have to take care in order to refinance our house. He tells us that we need to scrap and paint the outside trim around the house and paint the down stairs bathroom. My response was What the crap!! It's is going to rain this weekend. Excuse me but (HOW IN THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO GET THIS DONE!!!) So you can see why I was in such a great mood. Remember we both felt like crap. Dad stopped by and if you know my dad he is always positive. His reaction was Lets do it! So I headed to Wal-Mart about 9:30 that night. Wal-mart is a good 20 minutes away. I get pulled over by a nice cop who wanted to let me know my head light was out. That took 20 minutes. I make it to Wal-Mart and on my way home, guess what a Wendell cop pulls me over for, the same thing. I told him I know I got pulled over in Gooding. He was nice but gave me a fix it ticket cause I didn't have my new insurance card in the car. I asked him if I would get pulled over again in Gooding and he said no the same police officer will be patrolling. He was SO WRONG!!!! I get pulled over again by another cop. This cop even did a u-turn to let me know my light was OUT!!! Give me a break!! It is Halloween Night. I sure there are kids up to no good. I would not be surprised if someone down the street is building a Meth lab. Leave me alone!! All I wanted to do was get home. (Michael fixed it Saturday morning:)

Belle and I on the ladder. Yes that is me with the blow dryer it was taking to long for the paint to dry so I got the blow dryer out. Yep pretty much white trash, trailer trash, red neck. But it worked. Check out the clouds above Belle. It was a cold day. Belle and I do like the nose shot! Good times!! FUNNY! I am proud to report that the paint did not run or wash off even though it sprinkled most of the day and poured all night. We started working at 8:30 got done around six. It was a long day.
You can tell mom is ready for the task. She is already going crazy and we just started.

Your happy when your helping ( I think that is a primary song) Dad is preparing the bathroom walls to be cleaned primed and painted
Good thing for family! I got to tell you something about Belle. I didn't call her to tell her about this I sure she had tons of things to do just like the rest of us on a Saturday. She calls me up and asked when we were starting. (she found out from dad the night before). Like I have said before she is so good to me. I can count on her. I know everyone had better things to do then climbing up and down ladders all day and painting someone else's house in the cold. Going into the bathroom and peeling wall paper and glue, off the wall, prime and paint. Mom Perry and I painted the bathroom Sunday. We painted it Whip Orange. It turned out good. I took a picture of it but it didn't show it was to light. But it looks great. It needs a second coat but I am not to worried about that right now. Michael and I are so blessed we have great families on both sides. That truly care and love us and our little people. Thanks everyone for your help. WE DID IT!

Dang all those 'helpful' police!

We waved at you all as we passed thru going to and from Idaho Falls for Steve's son's blessing last weekend. I'm sure you could see us flapping our arms out the window at ya'll! ha ha!!

Tera I am so glad that things worked out...but man talk about obstacles, I had no idea about the police officers, how nice that must have been. Your family is so great to come out and help, and I am glad my momwas there as well. I hope that you are recovering from the weekend! You need a week of pajama days-yeah right huh, with your busy schedule! Love the pictures!

I was up when you got home and I remember how "happy" you were with the local police. Amen to family, without the help of your dad, mom and Belle this project would never have gotten finished. Even though your dad was sick too, he came and was up on top of the house getting top eaves and I can't say enough about your sister, what a trooper. And I need to mention the GB Michael for all his trips to get supplies. It was a long day, but it got done and we still got to see HSM3 later that night. Glad I was there to contribute my small portion. That's what family is for.

What a crazy night! You would think the police had something better to do than pull you over just to tell you your light was out. Must have been a slow night. I'm glad your family was able to help you. I hope all goes well with the refinance. :)

You are so funny! I never heard of such a thing with your refinancing. At least you had lots of hands available to get the job done. By the way I love that you used a blow dryer. You know how to put a smile on my face every time I hear your stories.
Also, that's what you get for livin' in a small town the cops actually pull you over for everything!

What a memory! I'm sure it was no fun at the time....and still may not be, but look at the bonding you enjoyed with your family. Good thing they were there!!!

I would have had a heart attack the first time I was pulled over, let alone three time. Go Tera!!!
I know it was a bear to get done, but at least you don't have to worry about it now. The pictures are wonderful and what a great family. Memories are wonderful - even the worse get better and funny with time. Love you.

Three times in one night, that's got to be some kind of record! Too funny...
Looks like the painting party turned out to be fun - nothing better than to have great peeps helping with a dreadful task...I hate painting!
