The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I went with Ethan and his class to Skateland. This was Ethan's first time skating. He fell three times before we got on the rink. I then lost count after that, but he would get up and try again. He even went out and did the race. There was no way he was going to quit. By the time we had to leave he started to get the hang of it. Yes, I fell too. Ethan would hang on to me and we both would go down. I enjoyed the day with him.

Tell Ethan he is such a goofball. He told me he had a great time. How fun that you got to go too. Great memories for both of you.
I used to be a great roller skater, however, when ever they said someone fell and had to be helped off, it was usually me. So you probably don't have a chance Ethan - your Great Grandma loved to skate, but fell too. Keep up the good work and you'll be a natural skater, you are so athletic. Glad you took mom. Love you.

Loved Ellie's comments, the pictures of your family, and I totally laughed that you were taking pictures of Ethan when he fell! :) And it was cute that you said you with your big 3rd grader...I have a 6th grader...UGH!!! Looks like you all are wonderful! It's so much fun to play catch up with you and your family! Lots of love...
