This weekend was another road trip. I went with my parents and sisters to Washington for Gus & Bridgets baby blessing. They just moved into their new house. Saturday morning we went to the Howard Reunion at Rainbow Falls. A lot of good memories came back me when we were there. My grandma Howard use to be in charge of the picnics for years and she would have games and a talent show. She was Pentecostal and she would have me and my brothers and sisters and two cousins, who were LDS, sing I am a child of God. She loved that song.
Belle & I walked down to the river it is amazing with the bridge gone from the flood. The picture is me standing on what is left of the bridge over the Chehalis River.
Last summer my parents bought there tombstone. We went up the hill to look at it. It was pretty weird to see that. On the back of it they have Families are Forever and the kids names on it. Mom wouldn't lay down on the ground with dad. We were all laughing so hard it was funny. Dad told us to blow up the picture and have it out at his funeral. He says it will be a great time. One thing about my dad he has a great attitude about it all and understands the plan.
We spent time with Auntie Peg. She looked good. Just wish she could feel a lot better.
We made it to the Lewis Co. Fair. I meet Mel there and it was great to see her. She always makes me laugh. OH! My elephant ear was AWESOME!

Oh Tera! Wish I had known you were going to be here-would have loved to see you! We drove past Rainbow Falls this weekend too and it was unreal to see the devastation. Sounds like you had a great trip! Let me know next time you'll be here! :)
YOUR DAD!!!!! That is the funniest picture EVER!! I could just imagine the laughs you were getting. I love it! Glad to hear you had a nice time in Washington. I still have vivid memories of singing at the reunions.
Another road trip - you are one tough cookie Tera. I was still recovering from Colorado this weekend. Your dad has such a wonderful outlook on life - wish I could say the same. I'm glad families are forever, because I'd hate to lose all of you!
Tera your dad is such a "hoot". Sounds like you had a wonderful time, but I bet its good to be home and not have to travel anywhere for a while.
I miss those elephant ears!!- Cali
That picture of Uncle John is HILARIOUS!! Such a nice picutre of Nanny and him too. I remember grandma always having the bubble gum blowing contest...those were such fun days!!!
That photo would be the coolest thing ever at a funeral!!! And I can't believe you got to have yet another Elephant Ear! You're making me jealous now!
I heard that you went to Washington. Thanks for the pictures. I haven't seen your parents since I left for college. Tell them that I say hi.
