Last night was the Youth Cultural Celebration. It was great. The kids have been working on this since March. Friday and Saturday we went to the fairgrounds in Filer and had dress rehearsels. The last performance of the night was in front of the Prophet, Pres. Eyring and Elder Cook who is one of the new 12 Apostles. The Prophet spoke to the 3000 youth that put on the Cultural Celebration. To be that close and to hear him speak to our youth was great. My three cute nieces were in the performance and their dance was called "The Basque". Jalyn was in the choir and had a great seat and got to see it all. How blessed are we to have this happen last night for the Youth and to be able to stand there when the prophet of God walked in and sing "We Thank thy O God for A Prophet".

That is so awesome! What a great memory for your nieces and your kids to have that experience with the prophet being at arms length. Your nieces are so grown up and pretty and the niece with the short dark hair at first I thought that was you until I read your blog. She looks so much like you, so cute.

What a wonderful experience for you all. Hearing the Prophet in person is so awsome. You and the girls will remember it always and should be so proud of your part in the opening and dedication of this new Temple in Twin Falls.
