All Wyatt....

So much to say about this little man.
This is his new brace. He got this back in July. It is bigger then the one he got a year ago. It does what it needs to do that is to keep his thumb out. He wore this for three months straight. We noticed that he won't use that hand at all if he is wearing it. So now he only wears it in the car or if he is not playing. There has been days that he is so tight that he needs to wear it all day. The therapists and I are trying to find a happy medium with his brace. This is his new foot brace that is on his left foot. Wyatt just got this two weeks ago. His left foot is turned in. He will have this brace for 6 months to a year.
This is the talker that Wyatt has been using at speech. We take it home for the weekend. It has been hard to get use to and understand how it works. Trying to get Wyatt to understand that this is his voice. So this one that is in the picture is the one he takes to nursery. In the next couple weeks Wyatt will be trying couple different talkers that are more high tech.
This is how Michael and Acey play catch.
Wyatt loved it.
I walked into the family room. I see Wyatt on the horse trying to cry. I told the kids I think he would like to get down from the horse. Their response was we put him up there cause he keeps turning off the TV. This way he can't get to it....good thinking I guess.
That is my up date info on this little boy. He is over all doing well. He loves going to all his therapy's. He is a trooper.

What does he needs his braces for? He is such a darling boy! I love the game of catch! I think I might kill Robbi if he did that! :)

Thanks for the update, looks like things are progressing well. Hopefully when he gets older, he'll know how to keep his hand open and won't need that brace.

Michael and Acey, what goofs. Good thing Wyatt likes being the "ball" in their game of catch. He really looks like he's having a good time being thrown around.

It might have sounded like good idea to keep Wyatt away from the TV by putting him on the horse, but oh is he unhappy about it. I just want to grab him and love on him and I get to do just that in two days. Can't wait to see you all.
See you tomorrow night. Love you.

Wyatt, I hope you know how awesome you are and a lot of that comes from your awesome mommy!

It is so good to hear about our little man - Thanks Tera for doing such a good job with him (you too Michael). I think I would have had a heart attack seeing him go into the air like that - sure glad he liked it. The talking machine looks good, I'm sure he will catch on to the concept soon. Love you and have fun with TT and Grandma.
