Check us out! We are standing outside of Salt Lake East High School. This is where they taped the HSM movies. This was the bonus of the trip we took to Salt Lake. We were driving back from the aquarium in Sandy and we were headed up to the Museum that is on the campus of the University of Utah. I just happened to look to the left and screamed at Michael that is East High! I think it is. As I am still screaming I told him to go back and we did. We got out and took this picture. I told Michael we are going in and he said you don't go through a school. I know we will be super quite. So Michael and Wyatt stayed behind.
This is in the commons. Where Sharpay is looking over. To the right is the stair case that she comes down.
A family comes out of the office and I over hear them say. Let's find Troy's locker. I ask if they know where it was at. They tell us we can buy a map in the office for a $1. So we walked in and bought the map. First stop was the gym. The mascot for East High is actually a leopard not a wildcat. They are sitting were Troy, Zeke & Chad played basketball.

We cracked up so much when we saw this.

This school is HUGE! We got lost. We were looking for the Auditorium. Well I asked one of the workers if he could point us in the right direction. He tells us he thinks it is locked and So he just lead us there. This auditorium was so big. This picture is the kids on the stage were they did HSM3. HSM 1 was taped in Murry Utah. Now we have a tour guide. He opened everything for us.
This is the library. He opened that for us.
We even got on the roof of the High School. We are actually above the clock. We could not believe that he opened this up. We were in heaven.
This is crazy. We were walking by this classroom and Bry noticed it was the room in HSM1 where Gabriellia was at the Academic decathlon. I didn't think she knew what she was talking about. So we walked in and the teacher was sitting in there and he heard us. He said she is right. This is the room. He thought it was so funny that she knew this room and it was not even on the map. I tell you my kids know HSM! So this nice teacher pulled up a chair and Bry sat right where Gabriellia sat and won the debt.

This was like the extra bonus for our trip. It was so random. We just got lucky and drove right by it. Oh we did see the locker room. Not sure why I did not get that picture. We walked down the hallways where they sang What time is it? Some how we did not see Mrs. Darbus room. It was awesome. I would love to go back. We love u East High!

Bet Michael won't sit in the van next time. What a wonderful chance visit. You would think you all have watched HSM a couple of times. Good entries for you journals. Love you
It was so fun when you did this tour that the kids got to call and tell me what they had seen. They (and you I'm sure) were so excited. How fun that you got to do this "extra" stop on your Vacation.
I am laughing so hard right now!! Only you could be that much fun! I wish I could have followed you around.
How fun!!! putri will be so jealous when I show this pics to her. We passed by East High earlier this year when we were in UT but we didn't have much time to stop by. next time we'll try to stop by...looks like fun!!
