Back to School

Today was the day. The kids went back to school. It was a great morning. They were pretty excited to be going back. I think they were a little nervous. The girls barely touched their pancakes. It is funny that they all decided to wear blue today. Which was not planned. Katie with Mrs. Brown. We know that Katie is in good hands. Mrs. Brown has that nice grandma voice that can keep the class in line without raising her voice.
All three of them had Mrs. Brown for 1st grade. I told her she needs to hang in there I have two more kids coming through.
Bryanna with Mrs. Steele. We know Mrs. Steele more then other teachers at the school. She was in our ward when we moved here. I was her visiting teacher. When I use to come and visit Gooding my mom introduced me to her years ago. She is a kind, sweet lady all around.

Ethan with Mrs. Clayborn. Ethan is are guinea pig. He gets to try the teacher out first. So far so good. We heard a lot of good things about Mrs. Clayborn. I think Ethan will do just fine.
I know this was a huge day for the kids. As the mommy of these kids it's a little tough. It always is the first two weeks of school. I worry so much about them. As I always do but this year more so because the day is longer. They are in school from 7:50 -3:45. They get home a little after 4:00. I worry if they are hungry, tired. To much in one day. I worry that Katie can't open her pudding at lunch time. If they are to busy to use the bathroom. Did they get on the right bus. Can they carry their lunch tray. The list goes on and on. Just the stuff that Michael thinks is just crazy.

I love hearing about your worries! Sometimes these kids just think their mommies are home playing around, not missing them one bit and you just proved all kids wrong. See? Mommies DO care!

(I don't know where the summer has gone to, at least your kids have these beautiful brown tans to show for it, mine only have freckles!)

I think your worries are sweet-that is what makes you such a good mommy. The kids look so great, they look so grown up! What an exciting time!

Mom's always worry no matter what the age - just ask me. I love all that you got to do and the kids are growing way too fast. Put a rock on their head until I get there in October. lol. Love you all.

The kids look great and as everyone else said, you're the mommy so you worry. And it never stops (the worrying I mean) I've talked to the kids and they are loving school...well Katie is, she gets 3 recesses!!! lol I love you and hang in there, it will be summer time before you know it and they'll all be home again.
