This is my sock box. Since we retired the sandal's and flip flops. The sock box is getting to full to fast. I figure that I wash about 98 socks a week. That is if everyone wore just one pair a day. Somehow socks get lost from their feet to the laundry room. Not to sure were they go. I can't figure out how. They disappear in between taking them off, putting them down the laundry shoot or picking them off the play room floor. We still loss them. I am starting to believe that there maybe a sock fairy that comes in at night. Matching the socks is Katie's favorite chore. I don't mind doing it. But after folding the clothes. I really don't want to match up SOCKS!

I don't know where socks go either. I've had them go missing as long as I remember. I'm sure there is a sock "monster" in the washing machine. It's nice that Katie likes to match the socks, use her as long as you can because I'm sure she'll get over that soon enough. LOL
I love your idea of a sock box!! What a fantastic place to keep socks while waiting for that stupid fairy to bring the matching pairs back!
Hey! I think you have our socks! I kept dragging this box of single socks around everytime we moved. I finally got up the courage to actually catch up the laundry and go thru EVERY single one! And, I parted with those singles who didn't have a mate anymore. It was an emotional day. I just know that the missing one is going to show up again! ha ha!!!
I can't imagine that many socks!
That has never been a popular job, but bless Katies little heart for doing it. The famous sock monster has been around for hundreds of years and I see no end in sight, but from the look of it you need to have Michael get you a sock barrel! Love you.
That is alot of socks. We are still able to were flip flops here. Hopefully for a couple more weeks.
