Washington

A trip to Washington. John, Amie & Jagger flew in for the weekend. We wanted to see my brothers. It's been over a year. Everyone was able to make it there other then Camie and the girls. I still am waiting till we all will be at the same place at the same time.
First stop was in Kalma to see and old friend. It amazes me that we can pick right up. Have not seen each other in years. It was a great visit with Sonya and her family.

We stopped to see Auntie Peg. The last time the kids had been to Washington was when Grandma Johnson passed away that has been over 5 years. They all knew who Auntie Peg was cause they talk to her on the phone. Wyatt thought she was great he called her grandma.

We had to stop and eat at Merconi's for lunch. Michael and I missed those sandwiches. We went down to the Olympia pier and walked around the market place it was a beautiful day in the Northwest. We showed them Ethan's first house.

We walked around the Tumwater falls.

Gus & Bridgett have a great place. Kids jumped on the trampoline and ran through the sprinklers. Had a Bar -Q with Aunt Afton & Uncle Matt. The girls slept outside and that is something they have never done before. Boys played a little football. Took the kids to the Doty store to get candy. The price went up, it was a cent now it is 2 cents :). Best place to get candy. Oh how that was a treat for me and my siblings growing up. Grandma would give us .50 we would come back with so much candy. We went swimming in the Chehalis river. I was surprised how warm it was. The kids love the open water having the current take them down stream. Oh we spent hours in the river growing up Grandma would take us down there. When we got older Gus, Belle & I would spend the summer down at the trestle. Gus would jump off. Belle & I would just hang there until we could not hold on any longer. Belle & I made a run to Fuller to get devil dogs. Man those are the best. Had a great visit. Thanks to Gus & Bridgett we had a blast.
