Here we go again!! Another school year. This is Michael's 5th year teaching in Shoshone and 7 years all together. How in the world did that happen? Seems like I just saw him walk in graduation at UNLV. He has finished all of his Masters classes. Now just needs to take the test. Got to love his smile. He gives me a hard time every year but by cracky I am going to get the picture.
Now this just breaks my heart. I HATE IT! I know I am a broken record. But they grow up so fast. Hard to believe that all 4 of them are in the school now. As we walked in Ellie says Mom hold my hand. With that I did and held my tears back. I think she was a little nervous being the first day.
Ethan with Miss. Roseberg. After taking this picture I leaned in to give Ethan a kiss & hug. He moved away. Can you believe? Not even thinking about it seemed so normal to do that. He denied me a kiss & hug. The thing is I was not trying to embarrass him or tease him. When he got home from school I asked him how it was. I quote...mom it's the same stuff every year they tell us the rules. I heard it all before. Ok then so what did I learn the first day of school from Ethan that at 5th grade you have figure it all out.
Bryanna with Mrs. Caliborn. Oh how we love her. Bryanna was super excited get her this year. She on the other hand did give me a hug. Bry is going to have so much fun in 4th grade.
Katie with Mrs. Anderson. This is the first year having her as a teacher. We heard great things from others. I think Katie will do great in 2nd grade. Katie sure is tired after school the days are so long for them.
Look who is in Kindergarten! ELLIE! Can you believe it. We moved to Idaho she was only 18 months old. She really enjoyed shopping for her new school clothes and supplies. She has a few friends in her class that she knows from church and pre-school last year. She has such an attitude
you would think she was headed into High School.
There you have it. They have been back at it for about a month now. I hope this year bring a lot of success, learning and a lot of fun.

Kids grow up so fast!! Everyone looks so cute on the first day. Hope all is well with everyone - nice to hear from you. :-)
