With everyone being home for two weeks. We had time to go play. We bought the kids a pass to go to skate land and go skating. OH my it was fun, but a lot of work. My arms were so sore the next day. Picking Katie and Ellie off the ground. Bry and Ethan did awesome. I can see why the school waits until they are in 3rd grade to go skating. Here is Miss Bry all smiles from her. Ok here you go....So you know how they have races at the skating rink. Well Ethan does it. Well then it was girls turn. Then girls 13 and up. The kids start to cheer for me to go out and race. I couldn't let them down. So I went and raced. Before the race I told the only other person that was racing (which she was like 15 all pro). I told her to be easy on me. Well no surprise there. She won. But I did take second. Got a free drink.
Ethan and Katie skating in couples. To darn cute.
Can you see Ellie's legs rapped around me. She took me out.
Katie getting up again!
We built a snowman. I was surprised how well Wyatt did in the snow. He liked it. We used carrots for the eyes. Candy cane for the nose and broccoli for the ears. He turned out good until some kid came by and kicked it over. Love the snow. But love the hot chocolate afterwards.
Christmas break is over with. Back to the norm. Basketball season just started for the kids.Three kids on three different basketball teams. I am coaching Bry's team. Michael coaches seventh grade boys. Never down time at this house. But wouldn't change it for anything.
