Spring Break Part 1

I was so excited to be home for spring break. There is so much I wanted to get done. It's hard to start and finish a project when you have five little people, Michael's coaching job's and working on his masters and Wyatt's very busy schedule. What I wanted to get done was to paint the front room. Three walls were gray and one was brown. Dad came over to get the real high stuff. This room has a vaulted ceiling. I don't mind the ladder but I do not like to stand on the last step. Even if I did stand up that high I still could not reach it.
Bonnie came over to help.
It is all done. I love it. It only took two days. If I tried to do this during the week I would still be working on it.
This is the coolest thing. Bonnie made this for me. She made this to remind us to find some joy in this journey with Wyatt. She is my listening ear and she gives great advice. Her little sister has special needs. Bonnie knows the in's and out's of doctors and therapy's. I am so grateful for her knowledge and friendship. Bonnie has helped us on this journey. She is so kind to think of me.
This is the play room. A little history here. It took forever to figure out how to do this room. I couldn't do it a boy or girl color. So last May I figured out Disney. So we did the strips (don't think I would do that again). I started last May a couple weeks before Michael went to Vegas to work for the summer. He left and the project went on hold. Well this fall I got the painting all done.
This picture was taken side ways not sure why, but these pictures are all from our trips to Disneyland, Sea World ,California Disney and the Zoo. I love stopping and looking at these pictures these are great memories as a family. We painted them and put dots on them. I have five more frames that are ready to be put up.
We did these to. They match the frames.
I found these curtains on Ebay. They are perfect in the Playroom.
This wall you see right when you walk in. This is the best part of the room. It should say "Come Play with us!" but the Us riped so I am getting a new one and it should be here in a couple days. Michael just built shelves in the closet, and put up new blinds. This room has taken so much time. I am so happy with it. Now the new project is working on the kitchen.
Another chore we got done was having Katie and Ellie trade rooms with Ethan. The girls beds fit better there. Oh how we love huge projects.

Both rooms look fabulous! You are quite the home decorator. It took me an entire year to decide what color to paint my living room. I still haven't done our bedrooms. You are the busiest mama I know. I love you for all of your hard work it takes to run your family and still remain as cute and funny as you are!! xoxo

The rooms look great. All your hard work is certainly starting to pay off. Love the plaque your friend gave you. You've got such good friends there in Idaho to support you and that's so great. Can't wait to see all of this in person. If it looks this good in pictures, I'm sure it's really awesome close up.
