For those who don't know, Wyatt has been doing physical therapy on his right hand for about two months. Ever since he was a baby he never opened his right hand. He keep it in a fist all the time. The blue thing on his hand (In the Picture) is so he will not be able to tuck his thumb in. We have seen a huge improvement in his hand. He is learning to pass things from one hand to the other. Wyatt is still working on his ability to pick up stuff with his right hand. He has a ways to go on the hand but we do the same exercises at home that I have learned by taking him to therapy and we have seen an improvement.
During the summer I took the kids to the city pool and noticed he does not kick with his right leg. This could be the reason that Wyatt has not begun walking more than three steps until recently. Wyatt has now seen a doctor in Twin Falls that hooked us up with the Idaho Infant Toddler Program. The cool thing about this program is they come to your house and check out the child there. They are coming this Friday to see how Wyatt is developing mentally. Then someone will come back and check his upper and lower body to see how they are developing physically.
I am happy to say that he is starting to get walking down. He swings or drags his right leg, but is able to walk across the room. He is doing awesome. Ever sense he got a blessing the ball has been rolling to find the right people to listen and to help. Thanks goodness for a Priesthood blessing. Thanks to family and friends that have be praying for him. He is a strong little guy and he is going to grow up and be healthy and happy.

Oh I am so glad to see he is doing well. Actually, I was just thinking about him last week when I was reading about the kids. He is a tough guy I am sure, he is a Perry after all. We love your family and he is in our prayers and thoughts as well as your entire family. Give him a big hug from us and tell him good job and he can have two go-gurts when he comes to visit The Hardy's.
Heavenly Fathers is only sending the best children to the best parents in these latter days - he knew that Michael and Tera would be the ones for precious Wyatt. We are so proud of him and know that he is being blessed. He always has that wonderful smile and I'm sure is a great joy in your lives. Our prayers are with you all and love you to pieces!
Wyatt looks like such a big boy in those pictures-what a doll. He is a such a good boy, I am glad that things are going so well. He is a good boy and I too love to see him smile and giggle! Before you now it he will be running around the house with the other kids!
The brace on his hand is not at all like I imagined it would be at first, but it looks just like you described it to me. He doesn't seem to be minding it, which is good. I'm sure that his improvements are wonderful. I noticed it when we were in Colorado. You're such a good mom and I know this is hard for you and Michael as parents, but as you said, doors have been opened to get him the help he needs. You're so lucky to have the Priesthood in your home. It's neat that he has started walking, but it could be a mixed blessing; now he'll be able to get into more things, but he'll be able to run and play with the other kids. Give him and the rest a big hug from Grandma Perry and know that you are always in my prayers.
It's amazing what the power of the priesthood will do. Miracles happen. I'm so happy to hear that he is getting all the things he needs!
Hey, it's Jessica, April's old roommate. I saw your blog from a comment you posted on her's. Hope you don't mind. I can't believe how your family has grown in the last few years. Your kids are adorable. I was glad to see what you guys are up to.
He's so cute Tera. Everything will work out, it's wonderful the blessings the priesthood brings.
